Lee Howder
Lee built Howder Labs out of a federal career that ran through NASA Armstrong, NAVSEA Corona, Navy civilian support to the Missile Defense Agency, FDIC's Network Operations Center, and U.S. Army strategic communications. He holds a Master's Degree in Network Communications Management with a concentration in Information Security, alongside 48 active industry credentials including CISSP, CyberAB Registered Practitioner, CCNP Enterprise, and CEH.
At NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center, Lee served as Communications Program SME and NaTS Service Line Liaison, holding Information System Owner accountability for mission-critical communications including E911, Public Address, and Paging across high-profile programs such as X-59 Low Boom Flight Demonstrator, Sky Range, Global Hawk, UAS in the National Airspace System, and Hawk 30. He sat on NASA's Communications Architecture Working Group and Communications Program Board.
Before NASA, Lee served as a Navy Validator within a Navy Cybersecurity Branch at NAVSEA Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona, conducting independent assessments of Navy and Marine Corps information systems against NIST 800-53 and DoD 8510.01. He also held Information System Owner and ISSO accountability for the Corona Classified RDT&E Network. His Navy civilian work on Missile Defense Agency Pacific Range operations integrated voice, data, and telemetry for live flight tests and intercept events.
