i. Principals

Federal pedigree, delivered firsthand.

Howder Labs is intentionally small. Two principals, one accountable signature, every engagement led by someone with direct federal mission experience.

Kathleen Weber

Ten years leading teams, managing operations, and building client relationships across fast-paced customer-facing environments.

Kathleen brings a decade of operational management experience to Howder Labs, with a record of leading teams, developing employees, and maintaining high standards of professionalism across customer-facing environments. Her practice centers on the operational backbone that lets a small firm punch above its weight: scheduling, conflict resolution, performance management, and the consistent execution of commitments to clients.

At Howder Labs she owns the day-to-day operational cadence that keeps client engagements, federal registrations, and proposal deadlines on track. She is the first point of contact for new client coordination and the connective tissue between the principals and the work that has to happen between meetings.

ii. Mission

How we work, and why it matters.

A short statement of how Howder Labs approaches compliance, and what Defense Industrial Base contractors can expect from the work.

Our work is shaped by the assessor's perspective and the program manager's reality. We write the artifacts your contracts require, document them the way an auditor needs to see them, and stand behind every page.
i.

Accountable delivery.

The names on this page lead every engagement. Senior accountability is the default, not the upsell.

ii.

Federal-grade documentation.

Every artifact is written to the standard a federal Information System Owner or Navy Validator would accept, because that's exactly who built them.

iii.

Practical discipline.

We solve for the contracts your business actually pursues. Plain-language documentation, defensible evidence, scoped to your real environment.
